With the group stages now completed of the Reality Gaming Amateur competition we now move into finals. It has been an interesting competition with a lot of teams dying mid-way through the competition, this is very disappointing and slack to those teams that wouldn't play out the competition. Before we move into the finals here are where teams ended up in there groups. The top 2 from each group will go through to the double elimination finals which start next week.

With the current season of CEVO reaching an end, attention has turned to the next one. With a hand full of teams dying from both Intermediate and Professional, the community has been awaiting to see the up and coming teams and how they compare to the big teams at the top. A recently created team consisting of a mix of CEVO-I and P players has caught everyone's attention with a big lineup and results to back it, Spades is the main contender for next seasons competition the only question that remains is whether they'll enter intermediate or professional. I recently caught up with the co-creator of the team.

Reality Gaming Amateur Round 5 Predictions |

The last round in Reality Gaming's Amateur league is finally here. This week's map is de_tuscan which is based on the popular map, cpl_mill. This map is pretty even for both sides and teams will need to play this one a lot to get the hang of it. Lots of chokepoints will see some good spraydowns and long, corridor-like stretches make it a suitable map for awping. This map can be a lot of fun for the teams to learn, so hopefully we can see some good matches being played.

Round Three of the Reality Gaming Amateur has had it all. Whether
it be angry gamers to forfeits; the conclusion of this round is a
somewhat relief for the Reality Gaming admin team. Barely any tight
matches like there should be on de_train however, we saw some teams
rise up to the occassion, showing the spectators the level of
competition that they're trying to set.

Joining me today in the spotlight is Carlos "killtaculaR" Natale, reigning from XtremeGaming QLD (formaly TeamMinority). The players have all played together in one clan or another so they have an idea of each others play style. The team has won all 3 of their played matches quite comfortably with a 16 - 9 win over inimical, tltq 16 - 12 and zeroFaith 16 - 2. This is looking to be a good season for XG.QLD and I think it is safe to say we will see them in the finals
